Outdoor Education

Learning Outcome - Learning about outdoor activities, and use of gear and equipment safely and correctly.

Things you will do - Students plan and prepare for various full or part day trips into the outdoors at locations close to or in Christchurch. Trips could be to experience rock climbing, abseiling, orienteering, climbing Mt Herbert etc. (4 weeks = 4 trips). You will research equipment, skills, locations etc (with guidance), and maybe have the opportunity to earn a few level one credits. Come and join us as we have some fun in the great outdoors!
