PSIM Electronic Simulation

about PSIM: PSIM is an Electronic circuit simulation software package, designed specifically for use in power electronics and motor drive simulations but can be used to simulate any electronic circuit. PSIM is used by industry for research and product development and it is used by educational institutions for research and teaching

licensing:

Teaching Licenses are managed by the University, and students will have free access during the semester. The PSIM Teaching licenses are time-limited, but may be renewed by an instructor for use during another semester upon request.

As an electronic instructor I have contacted Powersim (PSIM) company to get educational license, then hopefully I have received 31 license, some of them were already used for electronics lab, however if you wish to install the educational PSIM, please let me know by email, then I can send the license number, please be aware we have a limited license, so if there will too many demands about that, I will contact the PSIM company about that requests.

Installation:

Student can download either 32 bit or 64 bit of PSIM software based on your computer requirements, to make sure about whether you installed is 32 bit or 64 bit, please do the following steps:

Step 1: go to the (START) button.

Step 2: write '' DXDIAG ''

And you'll see all the options of your computer and one of them are what version you have 64 or 32 bits.

based on that you can download 32 bit or 64 bit of the PSIM software, from the following link:

Settings:

All students should have the license before installation, so please if you wish to install PSIM please let me know by sending an email to my university email (farhad.mahmood@halabjauni.org), then I will be able to guide and send the license to you.

When prompted for a password (not license number) , please leave this field blank.
