Get Involved
We want you to get involved with all HACC has to offer.
Email SGA@hacc.edu if you want additional information!
There are dozens of ways to get involved at HACC, and new student groups are always forming. Email us for more information.
Student Hub on Discord
The Discord Hub is a place online for HACC students to connect with other students. Click this link to check out the Discord Hub if you're not yet a member.
Anyone can make or join a group. It is affiliated with HACC but run by students. Some HACC student clubs are on Discord. In other cases, students make their own informal groups.
You can join the Discord Hub using an account you have already or by making a new account. You can access Discord through your internet browser, through a smartphone app, or by downloading the desktop program.

Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society
Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) is the International Honor Society of the two-year college. The name of the local chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at HACC is Alpha Nu Omega (ANO). Our chapter was founded in April of 1988 by Dean Thaddeus Sampson.
Both PTK members and non-members are welcomed to attend monthly ANO PTK meetings, which often include workshops targeted at helping students succeed in their academic programs and post-college job searches.
Joining ANO PTK requires that students meet eligibility requirements. To join, a student must:
Be enrolled in a program that leads to an associates degree
Have completed at least 12 credits toward that degree
Have a GPA of at least 3.5
Be a student in good standing
If you believe you meet these requirements but have not received an invitation to join PTK, please reach out by email for more information!
