Representing Students

I am Leonidas Sacarellos, and this is my second year at HACC. I am looking to use my leadership skills to enhance everyone's experience at HACC and make SGA a more approachable and accessible role for everyone here to succeed and strive together. 

I am a math and computer science student in my final semester at HACC. I came to HACC as a returning student after spending eight years as a barista, a kitchen prep, and a catering manager. My priority as an officer is to build the student voice, the student identity, and student power. My hope for HACC students is for us to develop a shared identity and a strong collective voice for having our needs heard across campuses.

I'm Alec. I am a computer science major at HACC, and I'm looking forward to giving back to my college and learning useful skills in my educational journey.

I am from Turkey. I am pursuing a nursing degree at HACC. I want to be a voice for international students and nursing students. I am confident about this position because after I lost my father, I became the manager of his company and saved the company from many struggles. I am very dedicated. My most important goal is to help students who don’t believe in themselves but gain confidence in our environment and pursue their dreams. I want to be part of their process. 

I joined SGA because I noticed that virtual learning was negatively affecting our identity as a college. I want to work on regaining the sense of camaraderie that we should feel as students. I also joined because I remember when the Lebanon campus was great. I would like to see us get back to that. 

I want SGA to be the forefront for student engagement. I have leadership background in business management for pride organization.
