Doing Math!

Thanks to Donor's Choose, our class received a class set of headphones. I can record my direct instruction lessons, so students can watch them at their own pace. This allows me to help those who need more instruction and others can get to individual practice more quickly. I can't wait until students start making their own recordings because the headphones also have built-in microphones!

My students love Quizlet Live! Quizlet is a website that allows you to make study sets and flashcards for vocabulary words. There is a live feature that sorts students randomly into teams. The students in each group can see the question, but only one team member has the answer. It is awesome watching these students collaborate and discuss as they compete against their classmates.
