My name is Kelley Wood. This is my third year at Greer Middle School and my 12th year teaching. I love teaching, and I know this will be the best year yet! What Can I Do To Be Successful?
What Can I Do To Be Successful?
- Come to school prepared everyday! Attendance is key. You can't learn if you aren't here.
- Be engaged. This means bring materials and pay attention in class.
- Practice math EVERY night! Read back through your daily assignments each night. Create flashcards for key vocabulary terms. Be sure you are spending at least 90 minutes on MATHia each week. Create an activity for us to use in class.
- Log into Khan Academy and search for 8th grade math topics.
We are using Carnegie Learning. This curriculum is meant to engage students and develop learning on a deeper level. Our goal is to train ourselves to perform like the classroom in the following video.
