About Me

A little bit about myself: I am originally from Southern California. My wife Jessica and I moved to South Carolina in the summer of 2017 and this will be my forth year teaching at Greenville High School. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Azusa Pacific University and my Master's degree in Learning and Teaching from the University of Redlands. My teaching style is one that values discussion over lecture and real world application over theories and grand concepts. It is important to me that my class is a place where students are free to (respectfully) express and pursue ideas and opinions. My goal is to teach students to think critically in areas of life which reach beyond government and politics.

When I'm not teaching, I enjoy traveling with Jessica, water skiing, and playing with my adorable pups, Scully and Duke. I love sports and have a special affinity for my original LA hometown teams like the Dodgers, Lakers, and USC Trojans.
