Missed work/Make up policy:
If a student is absent for a test, they must take the test upon their return to school unless otherwise arranged with the teacher.
All assignments are posted on google classroom!! Handouts needed will be present in the absent folder with the students name upon their return. A copy of the handout will also be posted on google classroom. Students are responsible for making sure they get this information and complete the assignment!
Discipline Procedures
Students are expected to follow all Beck Academy rules and procedures at ALL times! If a students does not follow the rules the following consequences will occur:
Step 1- Warning: A verbal or signal
Step 2: Behavior will be discussed with the student. Parent contact will be made. This may include a seat change or reflection time for the student to help them change the behavior.
Step 3: Behavior will be discussed with the student. Parent contact will be made and an after school detention will be given to the student.
Step 4: Behavior will be discussed with the student. Parent contact will be made and another after school detention will be given to the student.
Step 5: The next infraction of the rules or procedures will be documented and result in a disciplinary referral and transferred over to the grade level administrator to determine the next level of punishment. The parent will also be contacted.
**Please understand that some behaviors can result directly in a disciplinary referral**
Grading Scale:
· 90-100 A
· 80-89 B
· 70-79 C
· 60-69 D
· 50-59 F
