I hope that with this class, you will feel more comfortable speaking the language with your teachers, classmates and friends. The goal this year is to improve your social and academic vocabulary.

All assignments will fall into one of two categories:
50% - Major Grades (Unit Tests and Summative Projects) 3 major grades per quarter
50% - Minor Grades (Classwork, Quizzes, Oral Reading Fluency, Homework) 9 minor grades per quarter
