About Me 

Hello everyone and welcome!

My name is Sonia Fajardo, I was born and raised in Colombia, South America. I am thrilled to be your child’s teacher here at Tanglewood!

I went to Southside High School and J.L. Mann Academy. I received my bachelor's degree from Limestone College and I have a Master of Education in Teaching and Learning from Clemson University.

It is my pleasure to share my knowledge and experience with all my students. I understand the challenges of learning a new language, and I will apply my personal learning experiences to support the students journey. I am eager to share my love for languages and culture while I teach my students this year.

I am married and I have two kids; we enjoy traveling, going to the park, we love to ride our bikes and spend time with family and friends. 

I am sure that this school year will be very enriching for all of us.

Mi nombre es Sonia Fajardo, nací y crecí en Colombia, América del Sur. ¡Estoy muy contenta de ser la maestra de su estudiante aquí en Tanglewood!

Estudié en Southside High School y J.L. Mann Academy. Me gradué de la Universidad Limestone y también tengo una Maestria en Educación de la Universidad Clemson. 

Es un placer compartir mi conocimiento y experiencia con mis alumnos. Entiendo los retos de aprender un nuevo idioma y aplicaré mi experiencia personal para apoyar a mis estudiantes. Estoy ansiosa por compartir mi amor por los idiomas y la cultura mientras les enseño este año.

Estoy casada y tengo dos hijos; disfrutamos viajar, ir al parque, nos encanta montar bicicleta y pasar tiempo con familiares y amigos.

Estoy segura de que este año escolar será muy enrriquecedor para todos nosotros.
