Homework

Every night, students cultivate their love of reading by reading independently books of their choice for 20-40 minutes, depending on their personal goal. Then, they write about what they read in their Reading Response Journal, using one of the prompts below. Prompts are assigned daily and posted on the board. Students also complete math spiral review homework that we use in class to review skills we've learned.

Homework every night:

• Reading 20-40 minutes (based on personal goal)

• Math Spiral Review sheet

Students are encouraged to bring home their notebooks to study each night so they are prepared in advance for quizzes and tests.
