Meet the Teacher

Hello! My name is Sarah Allison. I graduated in 2010 from UNC Asheville as a North Carolina Teaching Fellow. I recently moved to Greenville from Asheville, NC where I taught for five years as a sixth grade science teacher. I love teaching science because it is engaging, hands-on, and it helps you understand the way the world works. Sixth graders are my favorite because they are a lot of fun!

In my free time I like to be outside, go to the gym, read, and watch movies (or youtube!). I love to travel when I can - I studied abroad in Cambridge, England while in college and last year I was able to spend the summer in Peru! I have a very large cat named Kingston who I love to spoil :)

I am so excited to be joining the GMA family this year! I can't wait to meet my students. I know we will have an awesome year!
