Classroom Behavior
In my classroom, I hold my students to a high standard, and I expect them to follow the expectations we set together as a class. I believe the student-teacher relationship is the foundation to creating a successful classroom. I build strong relationships with my students, so when there is a behavior concern, I can talk openly with the student about what has happened and how we can fix this behavior. From the beginning, I let my students know that I respect them, and in return I expect respect from the students.
Students will follow the school rules:
Keep your hands, feet, and objects to yourself
Use a quiet voice
Show respect for others and their property
Students will follow the rules we created and signed as a class:
Be safe (walk in the classroom/hallways, look where you’re going)
Raise your hand
Listen to directions
Be respectful
Be kind
Low voice levels
Try your best (write neatly)
