My name is Lila Putnam. I grew up in Greenville, SC and then moved to Greenwood, SC in 2013. I have two younger brothers. At my family’s house, we have seven cats, one dog, and some chickens. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy going to the gym, going to UofSC football games, and spending time with friends and family. I graduated from the University of South Carolina, where I received my B. A. in Elementary Education. Go gamecocks! 

I am thrilled to welcome you to this new school year! I know this year is going to be full of many magical memories. I am looking forward to having your child as a student and watching them learn, grow, and flourish. On this journey, I view my students as my “small teachers” because they help me learn and grow, too. I am committed to creating a community with respectful and empathetic learners. My important goals are creating a classroom community that is a home-away-from-home, creating lasting relationships with the students, and meeting the needs of each student.
