I enjoy my class each year!! Let me tell you a little about myself. I have been teaching for thirty-three years. This is my thirty-fourth year. I must say I enjoy it very much.

My family consists of my son, Scott, his wife, Jaime, and two beautiful grandchildren, Landon-8, and Logan, 3. I attended Winthrop University and earned my BA in elementary education and I have earned 19+ hours since. My favorite sport is running and reading my favorite books. Playing the piano is one of my favorite past times. I attended the Upstate Technology Conference this summer and Summer Academy to update me on technology and classroom skills and management-totally learned a great deal and enjoyed to see and learn what other teachers around the state are doing to help make their classrooms successful!

My two dogs, who I considered my family, passed away and I haven't been brave enough to adopt another--I have a true love for animals! Teaching isn't the only profession that I have attempted. For nine years I flew for Delta Airlines and had many chances to fly to all kinds of many interesting places which I will share with my students on many different occasions.
