Dear RCMS Students and Families,

I hope that everyone has rested up this summer because we have a busy year ahead! I'm so excited to get to know you and your families this coming school year. I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself.

I grew up in a small town in Ohio. I graduated from Ohio University in 2002 with my B.S.Ed. degree in Education. I then moved to Colorado and continued my education at Colorado State University where I earned my M.A. in English Composition in 2012. I've been in the Greenville area since 2013. 

I LOVE to travel. I spent a year in college studying abroad in the United Kingdom (Wales) and did part of my student teaching in Mexico. After that, I was hooked on exploring different places and cultures. Aside from travel, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, and writing. 

This will be my 16th year as a teacher. I've worked with students from 6th grade to adults in all types of learning environments, but the goal is always the same. I want to make sure that students get the support they need to be successful inside and outside of the classroom.
