I am passionate about communication—helping people to express their own wants, needs, and opinions and to speak up with confidence.

Professionally, I graduated from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana and worked for 14 years in pediatric and adult neuro-rehabilitation.  I was on the interdisciplinary therapy team for 11 years at the Roger C. Peace Outpatient Brain Injury & Young Stroke Program in downtown Greenville.  I hold my national Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA), a state license to practice speech-language pathology in South Carolina, and a South Carolina Educator Certificate for speech-language pathologists.  Each year I attend continuing education courses to remain up-to-date in best clinical practices and research in the field.

Personally, I grew up in the Chicago area.  Our family lived in Louisville, Kentucky for 3 years before moving to Greenville in 2009.  My husband and I have 2 daughters - 1 in middle school and 1 in high school

For fun, our family enjoys hiking, biking, playing games, and spending time at Lake Keowee.  We love downtown events like the Saturday Morning Market and Fall for Greenville.  You may see us jogging or biking on the Swamp Rabbit Trail.

I love to read—I’m always in a book myself and another book together with my daughters.  A few of our favorites include:
