Homework

Reading: Your child should read for at least 20 minutes each night. Students are also highly encouraged to complete at least 2 units on Lexia each night. Students are required to complete 16 units each week. With high demands within the classroom, this requirement becomes difficult. Please encourage your child to work on Lexia at home!

Math: Homework will be given at the discretion of the teacher. Due to various strategies used that most parents are not familiar with, homework will not be assigned nightly. 

Word Study: Your child's words are provided within small group instruction. There will not be formal spelling tests this year.

Science: Study guides will be provided prior to each unit assessment. Students will be required to study at home.
