Week of February 26

Chapter test week on Wed/Thurs. depending on Challenge - a small change from the original date assigned...just not quite ready for Tuesday! I am still, (can't believe it!!) working on the fabulous Immigration Day slides. Please ask your child to share theirs with you. The technology usage is going very well. They are great and take about 15 minutes per student to grade x 155= lots of minutes!! Students are working on finishing the IXLs that were due Friday. Watch for these four grades, slide projects, and a couple of other small things to go in this week.

Week of February 20

Work continues on the Great Depression and the New Deal. Chapter Test - 2-27

Due already this nine weeks:

Blue Book p.404 #1,2,5,6,7;

p.410 #1,2,5,6 and scarcity (define it)

Edpuzzle - new class code LUMINRE 3 movies

IXL - 5th grade SS - J5, J6, J7, J8, J9, and L8

Homework policies:

˜ I give homework two to three times a week. For the most part, this will be to review for quizzes and to study for tests.

˜ Occasionally, there is written homework – perhaps three times a nine weeks.

˜ Students occasionally may choose to do project work at home also.
