STAR STUDENTS are special classroom helpers throughout the week. We "spin the

wheel" each Monday to find our new name: "Round and round it goes-where it stops nobody knows..." Our star student leads our line all week down hallways to the room, lunch, bathroom, library, recess, and calendar math.They also share their favorite toy, favorite,book, favorite color, favorite food, and a special interest. We really enjoy the pictures that are often shared with us by our star students, and place them on our "Star Wall". Thanks for sharing, students!

We welcome all of our students to our classroom at Mountain View Elementary. We look forward to helping each child grow in their cognitive, social and emotional, and physical development over the course of the school year. We also anticipate parent meetings and field trips that are part of our K4 family involvement . We hope that you enjoy your time in K4 as much as we enjoy teaching it.

Weekly Activities...

Our K-4 classroom is daily "buzzing" with activity: morning meeting, calendar math, small groups-math, planning activities, work time, clean up, recall of favorite centers, lunch time together, bathroom and recess, shared reading, music and movement, quiet time, snack, large group, small groups-language, and closing activities are all part of our busy day. We look forward to each event in our daily schedule. Come by to visit us!
