December- All Grades: Erin's Law

**Erin's Law is a state mandated law that all public schools implement a prevention-oriented child sexual abuse program. These lessons and materials were developed by the district and an opt out letter will go home before these lessons are delivered to students. At the elementary level, most of these lessons are about safe touches, identifying trusting adults in each students' life, and understanding who they can tell at home and at school. None of these lessons directly discuss sexual abuse but, allude to it. If you have any concerns, please contact me as I have a second set of books and the lessons for parents to view. You can also visit www.erinslaw.org for more information.**
