About Me

About Mrs. Carpenter

I graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelors in Arts for English Education and a minor in Linguistics in 2014 with a 3.8 GPA. I was on the LSU colorguard for 2 years and met my husband while performing in Tigerband in Death Valley in 2010.

My husband, Daniel, and I got married in our hometown Baton Rouge, LA on June 24th, 2017.

In December of 2018, my husband and I got our first puppy. Her name is Ginger Spice Carpenter- she is sassy enough to be a Spice Girl. She was a perfect addition to our little family. She is a cocker spaniel and poodle mix, and loves to go on walks and hunt small animals.

This will be my 5th year teaching and 3rd year at Beck International Academy. Before moving to Greenville, SC, I taught in inner city low income schools in Houston, TX. I taught two different levels of English I, before my husband and I found out we were starting our new journey in Greenville. For past year and a half, I have been teaching 7th grade ELA (Studies & GT) and I am very excited to move up to 8th grade this year!

These are awards that I have been given from my previous co-workers in Houston, TX. While these awards are completely made up- they will reveal a lot about my personality and work ethic.
