Grading Scale

Chromebook Expectations:

  1. Chromebooks will NOT be sent home every night.
  2. Weekends and breaks Chromebooks stay at school.
  3. Chargers stay at school. There should always be enough battery for students to do their homework and have plenty left over for the following school day. We charge them at night usually but they can last 3 days without being charged if not overused.
  4. Homework can be done on paper OR on the Chromebook. Students are not unable to do homework if they don’t have their Chromebook for a night or two. It is simply not an excuse.
  5. If homework is not being turned in on paper, Chromebooks will not be allowed to go home whether you have paid a Chromebook fee or not. They are a privilege.
  6. Students have access to their own Backpack accounts and can check their grades, too. We have taught them how to check for that in class.

Chromebooks are a privilege, not an expectation.

Vision

While we do a vision screening at school, please monitor your child's struggles as it relates to screen time, long distances, and close up reading. This knowledge can help tremendously in academics!
