Mrs. Heller ESOL

Welcome to my site. I am the MLP teacher at Bryson Middle.

I am a native of Ecuador, so Spanish is my first language. I came to South Carolina over 30 years ago to attend college at the University of South Carolina in Spartanburg where I earned a bachelor's degree. I taught for nine years in Laurens County and I have been working for Greenville country in the ESOL program for the past 18 years. I earned a Master's degree from Furman University in 2007 in ESOL.

I am married and have two children, a son, and a daughter.  My daughter graduated from USC Columbia as a nurse and is now working at a local hospital.   My son is a graduate of Anderson University and is a youth pastor.  Both of my children are now married so I am an empty nester. I am also about to be a grandmother.  I am very active in church and I love to work out at the YMCA doing Zumba and Body  Combat.  In my spare time, I like to cook, read, and like to spend my vacations at the beach.
