About Your Teacher

About Mrs. L Hoffman

I am excited to be your child's teacher this year and am looking forward to an amazing school year filled with lots of fun and learning. We already have many exciting things planned for this year.

I am a highly qualified teacher in Elementary Education. I received my Bachelor of Science degree from Presbyterian College and my Master’s Degree from Southern Wesleyan University. I have taught elementary school for thirty-four years, the last thirty years have been here at Bryson. I have previously taught third, fourth, and fifth grades as well as in the Science lab.

I have been married for thirty-six years to my husband, Brian. He owns a plumbing business. He and I have been blessed with three wonderful children: Jacob, Trevor, and Brianna. Jacob and Trevor are both graduates of North Greenville University. Jacob is married and his wife, Mrs. E. Hoffman teaches first grade here at Bryson. Trevor is a seminary student and a pastor of a church in Greer where he lives with his wife and family. Brianna is a graduate of Converse College where she played lacrosse. Brianna and her husband, Dillon also live in Greer. Brianna is the women's lacrosse coach at North Greenville University. My husband and I are both extremely proud of our children, their spouses and our precious grandsons: Cole, Jude, Kipton, and Nate.

Our family enjoys sports of all kinds, especially football, baseball, and lacrosse. We are huge fans of the University of South Carolina. Go Gamecocks!
