Learning Today with Tomorrow in Mind

After Thanksgiving break, an artist Judy Klein, will be collaborating and teaching with me in the classrooms. Mrs. Klein is a drama/theater artist. She will use drama to teach content that K5, 2nd grade, and 4th grade are learning in their classrooms. I am excited to have this opportunity to work with Mrs. Klein. We are trusting that the teachers and students will grow in their appreciation for drama as well as learning academic content. Eventually, there will be photos of the different lessons in the photo section!

Note: Title I 24 Hour Rule: The staff of Alexander Elementary responds to all written or oral parent concerns, problems, recommendations, or commendations related to the Title I school program within 24 hours or the next school day, whichever comes first. If needed or requested, school officials also inform parents or other interested parties of the issue’s disposition. All issues related to Title I compliance submitted by parents or other interested parties are filed with the principal and with the Federal Programs Office.

Parent-Friendly Standards:

Parent-friendly SC Academic Standards are provided by the State Department of Education Oversight Committee. A copy of these standards is available for your viewing in the Front Office in English and Spanish. If you would like to have a copy of the standards, please send a note to your child’s teacher. Also, please indicate if you need it in English or Spanish.

Aprendiendo Hoy con Manana en Mente

Después de las vacaciones de Acción de Gracias, una artista, Judy Klein, colaborará y enseñará conmigo en las aulas. La Sra. Klein es una artista de drama / teatro. Ella usará el drama para enseñar el contenido que K5, 2º y 4º grado están aprendiendo en sus aulas. Estoy emocionada de tener esta oportunidad de trabajar con la Sra. Klein. Padre-amistosos del SC son proporcionados por el departamento del estado del comité del descuido de la educación. Una copia de estos estándares está disponible para su visión en la oficina delantera en inglés y español.
