Practice Document #3 Q 4

Due: May 23 (6^th and 8^th grade)

May 24 (7^th grade)

(It depends on your state test schedule)

7-8 graders who attended the after school rehearsal before the spring concert are EXEMPT from this document, unless you need a MAKE UP for ONE document only. If you do this document, I will make up one missing document PLUS give you credit for the rehearsal you attended.

Dear Strings Students:

I have enjoyed each one of you and hope you have learned a bunch this year! On the other side is your LAST (and mine, too) practice document for this year. I am sending it out with what you should be working on for your final grades of Q4.

Grade 6: Work on Integrity and Joust. Test is May 15-16. We are working on it in class and you can be practicing it at home now that you have copies!

Grade 7: Please prepare the two scales of D and G minor in your method book. You must play them 4 notes slurred per bow. Test is May 21 and 22.

Grade 8: Please prepare the “a minor” and the “d minor” scale in the melodic form. Test is May 17-18 and I will open Google Classroom for videotaping should you choose that testing method. It must be completed by May 18^th .

I will offer help on Region music in the morning the week of May 21-last day of school beginning at 7:50 a.m.
