Class Expectations

My Philosophy

All students are expected to behave properly to make sure we have an effective learning environment. I will demonstrate self-control in all situations and teach students how to monitor and assess their own behaviors by implementing Positive Classroom Discipline. Positive discipline can reduce the number of misbehaviors in the classroom. Modifications will be made to the plan for students who are learning or emotionally disabled.

At the fourth-grade level I believe in creating atmosphere where I serve as a guide who helps students create the classroom rules in addition to the ones listed below. Students should also have a say in how they learn. Being actively involved and working together to set goals and solve problems will give your child the knowledge and skills they need to be successful.

Behavioral Expectations

  • Computers and other electronic devices may only be used for learning activities, research for a school assignment and testing. For more details, please refer to the agreement that you and your child signed about appropriate use of technology and the consequences for misuse.
