Parent Backpack

New to the district is the Parent Backpack.

With parent backpack you can:

** View attendance

** View discipline

** View demographics and also you have the ability to request any necessary changes that need to be updated (telephone number change, email change, address change, etc.)

** Sign up for weekly/monthly notification emails

** Visit teacher websites and email them directly

These are just a few features of the Parent Backpack. We highly recommend that you sign up and utilize this tool.

Creating a Parent Backpack Account

You will need an email address to create an account. You can obtain a free email account at Outlook.com, Google (Gmail), etc.

Go to the https://parents.gcsbackpack.com. You will see this screen.

If you already have a Parent Backpack Account, please proceed to Number 4 to add a Student to your Account.
