About Mr. Malek

Hello!

My name is Joshua Malek and I am honored to be teaching your child this year. I am from Easley, SC, I Graduated in from Lander University with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. As a child myself, I never imagined myself teaching until I had the opportunity to teach martial arts lessons to a group of children. The great sight of seeing a child's eyes light up when he or she finally understands something is what made me want to become a teacher. I have a strong background in martial arts and love to incorporate it as much as possible throughout my classroom. I feel this movement helps increases physical activity, relive stress, and even works on fine motor skills. I look forward to building great relationships with each and every one of your children and hope we all have a wonderful year here at Hollis!
