Welcome to Introduction to Engineering Design and Geometry!

Congratulations on being selected to take part in an exciting and challenging class. In this class you will explore the basics of Engineering and Design while simultaneously mastering many of the fundamental concepts of Geometry through discovery, creativity, and problem-based learning. In this course you will be called upon to adopt an entirely different mindset about education. We, the instructors, will not teach you geometry. You will DO geometry. At various points throughout the course students will be given projects that may require technical drawings, hands-on lab events, collaborative design activities, and 3D design software – to name a few. You will learn both Geometry and Engineering through teamwork, exploration, and student ingenuity.

Materials for Class:

- Chromebook (with charger)

- Binder/Notebook for Geometry Material,  Engineering Notebook will be provided

- Writing Utensils: pens, pencils

- Compasses, Protractors, and Rulers (suggested)

- Expo Markers

- A multi-function mouse would be beneficial for Fusion 360
