Dear Chemistry Science Classes and Marine Science Students.

Welcome to Chemistry, and Marine Science (AKA Aquanauts) Students who enroll in these classes should be ready and willing to devote sufficient time, focus & energy to class assignments, including daily text readings, taking extensive notes in and outside of class, preparing for frequent exams and quizzes, participating in laboratory and field experiments, writing reports, giving oral presentations, participating in class discussions and doing other various class assignments.

Students, who are not able or willing to devote sufficient time, focus, and energy to this course should consider taking this course at another time.

As a student, you are to take responsibility for your own thinking in order to become informed decision-makers. That means 80% of the effort to acquire information is on you.
