The focus of Environmental Science is to engage students in experiences and observations that promote an awareness of the diverse marine and terestrial communities of our planet. It is to assist the student with their natural curiosity, with our unique local  ecosystems, and to serve as a stepping stone for further study of other global ecosystems. Environmental Science assumes an increasingly important role in our shrinking world. In the 21st century, an understanding of Environmental Science leads to a greater understanding in our ever changing world and our global climate models. We are Earthlings no other planet near us is home.  We have a responsibility to clean up our mess.   "Mr. Slagle"
