Schedule

Listed below are activities you can do with your child to reinforce skills we are learning in school. 

* Read DAILY!

* Review recognizing and spelling wall words. You can have your child make their own flash cards and have them read and then spell a few words a day. Have students write their words using markers, or write them in sand, water, or shaving cream.

* Put wall words in alphabetical order. (Use the flash cards they made and put 5-10 words in alphabetical order at a time.)

* Write stories (Be sure to remind your child to check their work for capital letters and punctuation marks.)

* Practice addition and subtraction facts. (You can buy or make flash cards with your child. Turn addition and subtraction into a game by playing "war" with the answers of the facts.)
