7th Grade Resource
Welcome! My name is David Bates and this is my third year as a resource teacher at Beck Academy. Before starting my employment with Greenville County School District, I taught ESOL for 17 years in Asia (2 years in Seoul, South Korea, and 15 years in Hong Kong). I earned my B.A. from Wofford College and my Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from The Education University of Hong Kong. I am currently pursuing my M.Ed. in Language and Literacy from the University of South Carolina.
Throughout the course of each school week, I will be co-teaching ELA with Ms. Eubanks and Ms. Fulmer. I will also be co-teaching Math with Ms. Hagenburger and Mr. Bond. Please click the name of each teacher below to access his/her website were you can view the course syllabus and assignments.*
I am looking forward to collaborating with the amazing team of 7th grade educators and administrators at Beck Academy this year. Together we will support all of our students and help them strive for excellence!
