STEAM: Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics

In order to build anything, one must have a solid foundation to build upon. If the foundation is not set, the building may crumble. In my STEAM and Robotics lab, I intend to set the foundation for success by establishing and implementing rules, safety procedures, and teaching core value skills. Once these are in place, we will do great things. I have a lot of exciting plans for this year and can't wait to get started.

Expectations: Students are expected to participate in all activities with a good attitude. Some activities require individual work while others may require students to work in a team/group setting. Each person has a role and should be respected at all times. Students are given a challenge to complete at the beginning of each class. Some challenges may take multiple weeks to complete. Students are expected to use materials appropriately to complete the challenge.

Safety: Students joining me in the STEAM lab will have an assigned seat. Tables and materials will be sanitized for their protection. If we are using technology, students will bring their own personal learning device to the STEAM lab to use.
