Meet Coach Mahon

My name is Coach Avery Mahon.    I am excited to begin my second year at August Circle in the Physical Education department.  This is my sixth year teaching Elementary PE.  

I currently live in Greenville, South Carolina with my wife, Mary Cate.  She is also an educator and teaches first grade at Ellen Woodside Elementary.  I spend the majority of my free time coaching baseball where I am the Head Coach at Woodmont High School.  I spend my summers coaching with the Diamond Devils Baseball organization.   When I am not on the baseball field, I am spending time with my family and friends and supporting my favorite sports teams (Clemson Tigers, Atlanta Braves, and New England Patriots).  

I am looking forward to working with all of the students, parents, and teachers this year!
