Financial Aid

Financial Aid

Financial Aid is money that is used to help pay for college, as well as other types of post-secondary education. It can be given by different sources, such as the US Government, the state where you live, the college you attend, or a nonprofit or private organization.

What is FAFSA?

Free Application for Federal Student Aid

All college-bound students should fill out this free form that will determine if a student qualifies for financial aid. This year, families can submit their FAFSA as early as October 1st. Awards can come in the form of grants, loans, and work study. Students are now able to file for financial aid using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) using prior-prior year (PPY) tax data.
