I have known from an early age that I wanted to work with children. I graduated from Presbyterian College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Psychology.  Several years later, I completed my Masters of Education degree from Clemson University in Elementary Counseling. In 2009, I earned my National Board Certification in School Counseling.

I taught fourth grade at Blythe for eight years before assuming the counselor position in 2003. This is my 29th year at Blythe! I love my role as a school counselor and feel fortunate to work at a school I love. I enjoy spending time with my husband, my seventeen-year-old daughter, and our Cavalier King Charles Spaniels named Ruby and Jessie.

Growing up, I always knew I wanted to work with kids in some capacity. I graduated from Georgia State University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. Here I found an interest in school counseling and decided to pursue graduate school at Clemson University where I received my Masters of Education in School Counseling as well as my Educational Specialist Degree in School Counseling in 2023. During my time in school, I developed a passion for supporting students through any obstacles they may face. This will be my first year as a school counselor and I am very excited to start my journey at Blythe!

I was born in Michigan but moved to Georgia when I was in kindergarten. While in graduate school, I fell in love with the Greenville area and am happy I've had the opportunity to work here. I am the youngest of two older brothers and have a beautiful two-year-old niece. I am also a dog mom to a golden doodle named Millie.
