About Mrs. Delgado
My name is Madelina Delgado. I am originally from South Florida. I moved to the Upstate in June 2007 and absolutely love this area! My husband and I have three beautiful boys and three dogs. This is my 22nd year of teaching. Most of those years have been in Kindergarten, but I have also taught 1st and ESOL. I received my degree in Early Childhood Education from Nova Southeastern University and my Master’s degree in Literacy from Clemson University.
I am excited to be your child's kindergarten teacher and can’t wait to see what this year brings!
About Mrs. DeShong
My name is Patty DeShong and I am Mrs. Delgado's teacher assistant. This is my seventh year in Kindergarten. I have worked as an aide in Special Education for three years and have been a substitute teacher at Bethel Elementary. My husband, Nathan, and I have been married for 21 years and have two sons, ages 18 and 19. Nathan and I also have two stepdaughters. My Bachelor's Degree is in Communication Disorders. My first teaching job was in Pittsburg, PA where I taught at a private school for 13 years before moving to South Carolina. I enjoy singing in the church choir, gardening, running, and spending time at the beach with my family.
