All About Me
Hello, My name is Ann Nelsen. I hold a BA in English from Brooklyn College and a MS degree in Elementary Education from Wagner College. I have continued to further my education by taking post graduate courses in the areas of Special Education, Reading and Technology. I am certified in Early Childhood, Elementary, Reading, and Special Education. I am National Board Certified in Early Childhood. I have taught all grades K through 8, Special Education, and Reading. My teaching has occurred in the states of NY, IL, FL, TX, and now SC. This is my 20th year at Sara Collins and my 12th one teaching LD Resource here. I am married and have a daughter who recently graduated from Clemson. In my spare time I enjoy reading, gourmet cooking, Jazzercise classes, and shopping.
