Thank you for coming by my website.  Continue to check back for some up to date websites and information for both students and parents.  I will try to add more information as needed.  This creation is a learning process for me so I am trying to make sure that the content is accurate, up to date and necessary for families. 

A little about your teacher...  

I was born and raised in Halifax with my parents, older brother and sister.  I have a cat, four nephews and one niece.  I have lived in London, England and the state of Maine.  I love to travel, gardening, enjoy going whale watching, cooking, baking and reading during my downtime...just to name just a few!

I graduated from Saint Mary's University (SMU) with my Bachelor of Arts, University of Maine at Presque Isle (UMPI)  for my Bachelor of Education and then from Mount Saint Vincent University (MSVU) with my first masters degree.  In the fall of 2019 I began my second masters program through St. Francis Xavier University (St.FX) and I completed this in July of 2021.  I was a substitute teacher from 2005-2006 and began working full time in September 2006.  I have mostly taught grades 2 and 3 over the last 18 years.  

I am happy to be at West Bedford School and I look forward to seeing my students grow this year!
