Hi! Thanks for stopping by :) My name is Mrs. Bailey and I will be your math teacher this school year. I am so excited to grow and learn with you! 

This is my tenth year teaching 5th grade at White Pines. I absolutely love working with 5th graders and I know our classroom this year will be so fun. 

I am from the east side of the state, right by Ann Arbor - Go Blue! I grew up as the oldest of four kids. I have a very close family and loved growing up with so many siblings. After I graduated high school I moved to the west side of the state to go to Grand Valley, where I graduated with a degree in Integrated Science. 

I am married and have two sweet babies, Kyler and Briar, and have a little fur baby, Jersie.

Hi! My name is Samantha DeWys. This is my twelfth year teaching at White Pines and year seventeen as a teacher in Grand Haven. I live in Grand Haven with my husband, Travis, and our two girls, Isabella (12) and Keira (9). I have lived in this community my whole life, and am a graduate of Grand Haven Area Public Schools. I graduated from Grand Valley State University, and also completed a graduate program in Literacy Studies at GVSU. I enjoy spending time downtown and at the beach, hiking through parks and spending time with my family. 

Hi! My name is Allie Cherry. This will be my 6th year teaching and third year at GHAPS. I absolutely love teaching 5th grade. I graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelors Degree in 2018. I grew up in the North Muskegon area and now live in Norton Shores. I love the Grand Haven community and you can often find me hanging out and exploring downtown!

I am married to Mr. Cherry, who is also a 5th grade teacher at White Pines :) In my free time, I enjoy being in the sunshine, hiking, listening to Taylor Swift, shopping, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. I am looking forward to a wonderful school year!
