Fun with Fenway & Hattie

Have a dog-gone fun time completing the following activities with your family or by yourself while reading Fenway and Hattie:

• Compare and contrast Fenway and Hattie's apartment and house.

• Create a dog park.

• Draw a picture or write about your happiest moment ever.

• Research how dogs and humans communicate with each other.

• What is it like to be a dog? If you have a dog, watch what s/he does, sniffs, chews on, etc. Write about a day in the life of your dog.

• Try to imagine being a dog and going for a walk in your neighborhood. Describe the walk from a dog's point of view.

• Write or draw about a fear you have conquered.
