Tentative Rehearsal Calendar

The regular Orchestra schedule will be:

Monday & Wednesday - 6pm-8:30 - Brass/Winds/Percussion

Tuesday & Thursday - 6-8:30 - Strings


Some Important Dates:

  • Sunday, April 24 - 2pm-6pm AIS -Diamond (Door 6) -
    Read-Thru of the show score     (We will provide dinner).

  • Sunday, May 1 - 2pm-3pm - AIS -Diamond (Door 6)
    Full Company Meeting (parents & students)
    Students will receive their show shirts, scripts and meet all staff to talk about the summer

  • Tuesday, May 31 - 5pm-9pm -
    First Rehearsal at     AIS -Diamond (Door 6)
    All students will meet for a FULL company meeting (students and staff only)

  • Wednesday, June 1 - 6-8:30 - Brass/Winds/Percussion rehearsal

  • Thursday, June 2 - 6-8:30 - String Rehearsal

  • Monday, June 27 - 5-10:00pm -
    Cast & Orchestra Run-through of Act 1 with the cast (Sitzprobe)

  • Tuesday, June 28 - 5-10:00pm -
    Cast & Orchestra Run-through of Act 2 with the Cast (Sitzprobe)

  • Friday, July 1 - 8am-12pm -
    This will be the day we move most of the set to the     Old National Events Plaza (ONEP).

  • Friday, July 5 - Rehearsals begin being held at ONEP

  • Monday, July 11 - Tuesday, July 12 (ONEP) - These are dress rehearsals.

  • Wednesday, July 13 (ONEP) -
    This is Friends & Family night. Each student will be given 4 tickets for this FINAL DRESS REHEARSAL.

  • Thursday, July 14 - Saturday, July 16 (ONEP) - 7pm PERFORMANCES

  • Sunday, July 17 (ONEP) - 2pm PERFORMANCE

  • Sunday, July 17 (ONEP) - 5:30 - STRIKE the set & Equipment

  • Monday, July 18 (Various) - 8am-1pm -
    Move everything out of ONEP and back to AIS - Diamond and various other locations.

(On Monday, July 18, we will put everything away. All participants are expected to participate.)

The participation fee is $100. Once rehearsals have started, the fee is non-refundable.

TENTATIVE REHEARSAL INFORMATION:

Our introduction to the music of The SpongeBob Musical will begin a read-through sessions. This will be held in the Fine Arts wing of AIS-Diamond (Door #6). Music will be distributed at our first session.
