Library as a resource
Reading Literacy : Library staff will actively be engaged in different kinds of activities, aiming to increase students’ enthusiasm towards reading, and assist them in their reading, writing, as well as in their general linguistic development. We offer book talks, book suggestions for different reading levels, different languages, downloading Legimus (Authority for accessible media) Book us for literacy projects.
Library collection: The library collection is providing educational material that caters for the needs of students and is adjusted to their specific requirements. Your department is encouraged to wish for relevant books suited for your Topic Area Plans.
MIK : Book us for lessons and projects in Media and Information Knowledge (knowledge of the library, information seeking, critical attitude towards sources, copyright). Students will practice guidance and training in, for example, information-seeking and in keeping a critical stance towards information. Such work must be carried out in connection with the subjects that students are taught and requires collaboration between teachers and librarians.
