About me

​Born and raised in Oviedo, a small town in the North of Spain. I attended college at Universidad de Oviedo (Spain) where I earned a Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degree in History. After moving to the United States, I attended Florida Atlantic University, where I earned a Master’s Degree in Spanish Literature and Language, a Certificate in Ethnic Studies, and a Certificate in Caribbean and Latin-American Studies. I have been teaching for the last 14 years, both in college (Florida Atlantic University, and Innova College), in High School (West Boca Raton Community High School and Concord High School), and Middle School (Francis Bradley Middle School).
