Grading and weekly responsibilities

1. Weekly homework (informal)-Homework is given weekly and is due at the end of each week. Being that we operate on an A day B day schedule all homework is due on Fridays to cut back on confusion. All homework is posted here and in Google classroom in advance so students will always have access to missed work or have the opportunity to work ahead. Homework will consist of steps toward completing a larger class project as well as vocabulary words that you will be quizzed on each week.

2. Weekly Vocabulary quizzes (Formal)- You will be quizzed on a set of 5-10 terms each week that correspond with what you are doing in class. The vocabulary words are given in the weekly homework.

4. Quarterly Projects (Formal)- These count as Formal grades and will be assigned at the beginning of each quarter. Projects are to be completed primarily at home. In order to help you stay on track, your weekly homework is designed to help you along in the process. Project assignments along with your rubric will be posted here and in Google classroom. Please check back regularly for updates.

5. Daily exit tickets (Informal)- These are used to assess if you understand that days lesson.

6. Daily Warm up (Informal)- These are used to address any misunderstanding from previous lessons, refresh information or to introduce new content. These may be on paper or online.

7. Unit Exams (Formal)- Tests will be given at the end of each unit.
