About Me

I am originally from Michigan and moved to Charlotte in 2007 to be a teacher. I love spending time with my family, traveling whenever possible and eating adventurous foods. I have a son named Jasper who keeps me very busy running around pretending to be dinosaurs, pirates and whatever else his imagination conjures up. Jasper is about to be four so his imagination is pretty strong. I also have a daughter named Kaia who is in college. She's an amazing young woman and I can't wait to see how she impacts the world. I have a husband named Jeremy who loves to travel with me, he is also a former chef and supports my love of food as much as he does my love of travel. I love to laugh and I find science puns hilarious, but only periodically ;)
