Fixing Flo 2018
Raising money and awareness for victims of Hurricane Florence and Hurricane Michael.
In science, students learned about natural processes like hurricanes. They then created slide shows about hurricanes and specifically Hurricane Florence and Hurricane Michael to share with the rest of the school. The 4th graders hosted a change wars during the week leading up to an afternoon of walking laps and participating in centers. Through the change wars, the students at Field Elementary raised over $1,390 to send to the American Red Cross.
